Children's Counseling

Supporting Children's Emotional Growth

We understand that big feelings can be hard for little ones to understand. That's why our counselors incorporate play therapy when working with children, as play is often their primary means of communication. We provide a warm, nurturing space where children can express themselves, feel safe, and learn healthy ways to manage emotions—laying the foundation for lifelong well-being.

Nurturing Growth: Support for Children and their Families

Our team includes counselors with a wealth of experience, including former educators (in Special Education, Advanced Academic Placement/Gifted, and General Education) and high school counselors. This background allows us to provide individualized care and support, ensuring your child and family get the help and guidance you need.

For our younger clients, we often incorporate play therapy, recognizing that play is a child's natural language. This allows children to express themselves, feel safe, and develop healthy ways to manage their emotions, laying the foundation for lifelong well-being.

We're passionate about working with diverse communities, including the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community, and teens and families navigating IEPs (or those who may need one) and special education services.

We believe in providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment so you can feel comfortable and secure discussing your feelings and experiences. We're here to listen, understand your needs, and help you find the best possible solutions to your challenges.

What specific areas of support are you looking for, or what challenges are you currently facing?

Note: If you or your teen are deaf or hearing impaired, a thorough screening and introduction must take place to ensure that communication (voice/ASL) is strong enough for sessions to take place. We do not have a certified interpreter.
