Shara Smile, LLC Newsletter November 2025
Greetings this November
As the crisp autumn air settles in and we gather to give thanks, November invites us to reflect, nurture, and celebrate the youngest members of our communities. This month is Early Childhood Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to focus on the social and emotional well being of children from birth to age five and to be thankful for the joy, curiosity, and wonder they bring into our lives.
Early childhood lays the foundation for lifelong learning, healthy relationships, and resilience. Simple acts such as consistent routines, gentle guidance, and attentive listening can make a meaningful difference in a child’s growth. Encouraging positive emotional development, validating feelings, and providing a safe, supportive environment can help prevent stress and emotional challenges later in life.
How you can support children’s emotional well being
- Notice and respond to changes in a child’s behavior or mood
 - Create safe, loving spaces where children feel heard and valued
 - Encourage healthy routines, play, and exploration
 - Offer patience, empathy, and consistent guidance
 - Share awareness about early childhood mental health with families and your community

This November, as we celebrate Thanksgiving, let us honor the children in our lives. Small acts, kind words, and attentive care help children feel safe, loved, and supported. Every effort matters, and every child deserves to grow with confidence, resilience, and joy.
With warmth and gratitude,
The Shara Smile Team
